Here at GameKnight Games, we have a wide variety of Reaper miniatures, unpainted Wizkids miniatures, Games Workshop and more, as well as paints and supplies from Army Painter. Starting to paint your own minis can be a daunting task. Fortunately, we’ve found the solution – Painting Tutorials!
Held roughly once per month on a Saturday, we provide the space and the instruction for anyone who wants to come down, whether it be to learn how to paint, to improve your own skills, or just to have some company while you work on a new project. The tutorials are run by a local artisan by the name of Craig Pauls, who volunteers his time to help you in your painting endeavours. And the best part – it’s free! Regardless of your skill level, whether you have your own paints and brushes or not, everyone is welcome to come down to our tutorials, all you have to provide is a mini to paint and your own time and enthusiasm.
Doors open at the store at 10 am on Saturdays, and the tutorial starts around 10:30 am, running until roughly 4-5 pm.

For many games, having a table filled with thematic 3-dimensional terrain can really enhance the experience, be it a miniature war game or a roleplaying game or otherwise. However, building this terrain can seem overly complicated, difficult, or beyond your skill level. Fear not! Our Terrain-Building Tutorial sessions are designed to take the completely inexperienced and help you build a beautiful piece of terrain to call your own.
Included with the entry fee is all of the materials needed to build a cool terrain piece, as well as the expertise of our top-notch hobbyist, Craig Pauls, creator of GameKnight’s battle boards.
Session Theme: TBA
Still have a project from a previous session that you want to keep working on? Bring it out and Craig will be more than happy to help you make progress on it.
Our terrain building sessions begin at 11 am and run until roughly 5 pm.
