Gaming with GM Ben, featuring Yuri:
Yuri and I had a phenomenal game of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar today, featuring monstrous entities on both sides of the battle. Thunder rumbled across the battlefield as Kragnos, the End of Empires crashed into the assembled might of the Stormcast Eternals, led by none other than Bastian Carthalos, Lord-Commander of the Hammers of Signmar.

Kragnos was not alone in his monstrous rampage, as both a mighty Ogor Frostlord mounted on his ferocious Stonehorn and the uncannily intelligence (for a gargant) mercenary, Bundo Whalebiter, joined his flanks. Lord-Commander Carthalos also roused an ancient beast to his side, as Krondys, one of the mighty Sons of Dracothion, lent his incredible magical prowess to the conflict.

Both sides unleashed some terrible magicks, including a manifestation of the dreadful and deadly Purple Sun from the depths of Shyish, realm of the dead, as well as an extension of the Great Pit Beast of Ghur known as Ravenak, a whirling mass of teeth and hunger.

We had a nailbiter of a game as Yuri drew my massive beasts to the one flank of the battlefield, leaving the other side open to his infantry, who moved up to claim objectives. Bastian Carthalos struck down the gluttonous Frostlord with a bolt of Sigmar's lightning, but then fell with a whimper to the End of Empires.
Yuri was catching up on points, but Kragnos and company, being mighty beasts of Destruction, managed to sweep clear their foes and charge back across the table. Kragnos had a mighty, titanic duel with Krondys, felling the ancient dragon, while Bundo smacked down some Stormcast infantry.

The game came down to whether Bundo could finally lay low the final Liberator squad and claim an objective back from the Stormcast, which he did with a great belch. This ended up tying up the game, one of the absolutely best ways I could ever have hoped this game would end.

It was an absolute blast of a game, crushing destruction all around, and our Purple Sun and Gnashing Jaws spent the entire game moving around casting the pall of death and gobbling up infantry left, right and centre.
So glad we could finally get this game in, Yuri!
