Greetings, gamers! We hope everyone is safe and well. It has been a rough two years, there’s no doubt about it. Never in our wildest nightmares would we have ever imagined going even a month without being able to play games in our store, let alone the almost two years it has now been. In-store events have always been a huge part of our business, and by golly we miss it.
Since the pandemic struck, GameKnight has been committed to keeping everyone, staff and customers both, safe and healthy, going above and beyond the government-mandated minimum requirements.
We don’t believe we are yet at a point where we can fully re-open our gaming tables and return to pre-pandemic events and schedules, but we are very aware that at some point, we do need to transition back towards some degree of regular operations. To that end, over the coming weeks and barring any significant downward slide in the pandemic situation, we will be working on a plan to take the first steps towards reigniting in-store gaming.
It’s going to start small. It won’t be every game, and it won’t be every day, not right away. We don’t have all the details yet, but we do want to ask your patience and understanding with us and our staff. We will see a return to gaming and sharing our passion for games and hobbies with our community.
