State of the Game - Flesh and Blood in 2026

Hey folks,

With the recent surge in interest for Flesh and Blood since the release of the Silver Age format, we've begun to stock card singles for new Flesh and Blood sets, starting with Compendium of Rathe. We've opened a small investment of singles to get our inventory going, and they are now live for players to peruse and purchase.

Of course, that then begs the question of "Will GameKnight once again purchase Flesh and Blood singles?". We are aware that there isn't currently a store in Winnipeg that handles domestic collections for Flesh and Blood. It is something we're actively working to bring back, but there are some logistical issues we need to consider and solve before we can do that.

At this time, we're looking at allowing Flesh and Blood singles to be sold to us once again with a few caveats:

  • All Common-rarity cards must be submitted on a buylist, and we will only accept Near Mint copies of those cards. We will not be manually pricing cards of these rarities;
  • Token-rarity cards will be automatically rejected by staff;
  • Commons and Tokens that are not Near Mint will be automatically rejected by staff;
  • Bulk and rejected cards will be returned to their owner, as we do not have plans to take in Bulk cards at this time;
  • Turn-around time is likely to be higher when compared to other TCGs as staff refamiliarize themselves with Flesh and Blood singles;

The reason for these restrictions is primarily because of the labour costs involved in working with large numbers of low-value cards. We would like to avoid situations where 100s of cards are traded in for pennies. Commons do not sell well as many players who open boxes either have their playsets or trade within the community to obtain them. Not only that, but as we open an initial investment of singles for each new set that releases, we'll have an abundance of Commons anyways. This also helps us process your collections much faster.

We are open to your feedback on this change. You can send any of your questions or concerns to tcg@gameknight.ca and we can discuss them through email.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move forward with these changes.
