Pathfinder has been a popular alternative to Dungeons and Dragons ever since its inception just after D&D moved on to 4th Edition. Originally based on the D&D 3.5e ruleset, Pathfinder has grown into its niche as a traditional high fantasy RPG with a breadth of customization options for players and its own world for Game Masters to play around in. Pathfinder even recently celebrated the launch of its highly anticipated Second Edition, an updated and streamlined ruleset for hardcore fans and new ones alike.
